AMFORCE is designed to apply constant (pull) clamping force in applications for fixtures, tools, pallets and workpieces.
Hydraulic pressure is used to unclamp the workpiece, but is not required to maintain the clamping force on the workpiece. High quality heavy duty disksprings are used to produce the clamping force.
