A strong feature within AlphaPlan is our LABOR HOUR DATABASE. AlphaPlan allows you to easily and quickly create a database file that contains all the following data for each machine in your shop :

• Regular hours worked for each day of the week.
  
• Overtime hours worked for each day of the week.
  
• Labor Rate charged for regular hours worked.
  
• Labor Rate charged for overtime hours worked.
  
• Efficiency Rating for that machine.

Using the standard EFFICIENCY CALCULATOR, your Labor Hour Database will reflect the actual hours worked for each machine.

HOLIDAY SETTINGS feature. In this area, user can create a database file of holidays and days off that occur during the year. User can enter up to twelve holidays for each year. Enter as many years as you require and alter / add as necessary. This database file is searched and included in all scheduling calculations.

Completing the LABOR DATABASE and HOLIDAY SETTINGS gives AlphaPlan all the info it needs to create accurate schedules. The user can then input the required cycletime and start date data into the scheduling screen. Once completed, the user simply chooses the CALCULATE button and AlphaPlan does all the work. Searching database files and performing all the necessary calculations in seconds to provide you with accurate delivery, cost and time requirements. Alter any data on-the-fly and re-create as many schedules as required or desired.

All the calculated data is displayed in a simple spreadsheet format on the screen for the user to review. The details of the form are outlined below. Pressing the PRINT SCHEDULE option will send this complete form to the printer for a hard copy printout.

Using AlphaPlan's One Year View graph, users can easily and visually see the capacity and scheduled times for their machines. This powerful feature allows for quick and simple scheduling - enabling the user to see times already committed to work and to schedule accordingly to fill the "down" times. Both machine and complete shop capacity can be viewed using the simple graph and schedules can be confidently created accordingly.

Once completed, the user can use the schedule data to create other powerful printouts and reports. All reports and data are EXCEL and LOTUS compatible to allow the user even more flexibility and data manipulation.
