The QA-5000's lightweight design offers extended cutting capacities and can cut holes ranging from 11/16" to 2" in diameter through 2" material. And, with the QA-5000's unique one-touch cutter replacement system, no tools are needed for cutter replacement. Simply adjust the position, and insert the cutter for an easy and secure fit.
Nitto Kohki's QA-5000, Quick Automatic Magnetic Base Drill features an automatic feed and return feature that offers operators a 30% reduction in total hole-cutting time compared to other magnetic base drills, and is able to perform at high-speeds for improved operation efficiency and high accuracy hole-cutting.
The QA-5000 is the only electric tool in the world that uses an acceleration sensor. Nitto Kohki's exclusive sensor design is actuated the moment abnormal force is applied to the main unit, and works to stop the motion of the cutter and motor feed the instant irregular power is detected.
