Bostomatic Corporation Appoints Alan Schultz VP, Sales and Marketing
Alan Schultz has been named VP-Sales & Marketing by Bostomatic Corp (Milford, MA). Schultz will be responsible for overall sales and marketing efforts including enhancing and managing the company's dealer network, developing and improving sales tools, increasing market awareness of Bostomatic machining and centers, and growing domestic sales.

Bostomatic Corp (the former Boston Digital Corp) manufactures a complete line of Bostomatic high performance 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers for high-speed precision 3D contouring. They are used worldwide in the production of precision parts for the moldmaking, tool and die, turbomachinery, rotary die, medical, aerospace, telecommunications, and automotive industries.
With more than 2,500 Bostomatic machining centers currently in service throughout the world the company believes that the Bostomatic trade name has eclipsed the Boston Digital company name in terms of recognition. "People in the industry know us and refer to us as Bostomatic, not Boston Digital. We've decided to capitalize on this brand recognition by officially change the company name to Bostomatic," explains Miles Arnone, Bostomatic president.
The company recently became part of the Agie Charmilles Group—the Manufacturing Technology Group of Georg Fischer Corp—major manufacturer and marketer of EDM machines.
Schultz has held positions at Charmilles, Hansvedt, and Mitsubishi, all manufacturers of EDM machines. Prior to joining Bostomatic, he was director of sales and marketing for Okamoto Corp.
