CAM Software Upgrade

Version 10 of Cimatronit contains a variety of flexibility and productivity enhancements that enable tooling manufacturers to simplify the tooling process, shorten production turnaround times, and reduce costs.

Here's a rundown of the new modules and their functions:

Mold Expert helps mold makers create the core and cavity and the parting lines and surfaces using surface and solid data. It's used with the Q Split mold analysis tool that accelerates the process of splitting core and cavity (which automatically creates parting lines and surfaces).

MoldBase 3D is an intelligent, associative application that automates mold base design.

MPDM (Manufacturing Product Data Management) is a tool tailored to toolmakers that organizes and manages job data.

Simulator and Verifier provides precut rapid simulation and toolpaths viewing functions as well as detailed verification tools.

CimaRender Pro produces and displays a photographic rendering of models created in Cimatron.
