Carmo And Forsstrom Enter Into A Partnership And Launch An Upgraded Welding Machine

Carmo and the Swedish machine manufacturer Forsstrom HF enter into a collaboration regarding development and sales of high frequency (HF) welding machines. The first result of the collaboration – a new version of Carmo’s HF welding machine CP9 – will be launched at the R+T fair in February in Stuttgart, Germany.

Carmo and the Swedish company Forsstrom HF have worked together for decades and recommended each other’s products to their respective customers. Now, the match is official, and the two companies have signed a partnership agreement for the development, sale and service of Carmo HF welding machines.

Forsstrom has already worked several times with the development and retrofit of Carmo’s HF welding machines. However, it is only with this collaboration that these development projects are put into series production and available to a larger market.

Adding experience and knowledge
Initially, the agreement results in development of Carmo’s most popular HF welding machines CP9 and CP8.

Forsstrom has sales agents in several countries, where the agents will be responsible for the sales and service of the HF welding machines, which are tailored to weld Carmo’s medical and industrial components. We see many opportunities in adding Forsstrom’s experience and knowledge to Carmo’s development and sales work.

Forsstrom launches upgraded machine on trade fair
The updated HF welding machines will feature the logo of both companies and be are part of Forsstrom’s efforts to create a more complete portfolio for their customers. Therefore, Forsstrom is also looking forward to being able to showcase the possibilities of the new partnership when they attend the trade fair R+T in Stuttgart, Germany, February 19 to 23. Here, a new generation of Carmo’s HF welding machine CP9 will be launched. The CP9 has been upgraded, so that it is considerably simpler to use and at the same time easier to service and maintain.
