Cincinnati offers Preventative Maintenance Program for machining centers
The PM Program, offering increased machine reliability and performance, and decreased unplanned down time, ensures that buyers and their machines will be visited twice-a-year for three years by a Cincinnati Machine service technician to verify that all machine systems are operating at optimum efficiency.
More than preventive maintenance, this PM Program focuses on detailed, 50-plus point inspection of the machines. All work is fully documented and reviewed with customers at the end of every inspection.
On every visit, hydraulic oil analysis and ball bar analysis will be carried out, and the entire hydraulic, lubrication, coolant/pneumatic and pallet systems will be inspected. The tool changer, spindle, linear and rotary axis, chip conveyor and electrical/controls systems also will be thoroughly analyzed.
Customers will receive a consumable parts kit, as well as10 percent discounts on replacement parts identified at the time of each PM inspection.
The special offer is good through June 30. Details about the offer can be found at Cincinnati Machine's website, www.CinMach.com, or buyers can contact their local representative.
Cincinnati Machine is putting technology to work in its new HPC line of 500mm and 630mm pallet horizontal machining centers with numerous specification upgrades and expanded standard feature content to give buyers maximum return on capital investment.
One significant upgrade for the HPC-630AP model is the fast new Acc/Dec rate of .5 G (193 in./sec²–4.9 m/sec²), improved from .375G. This upgrade is an increase by as much as 32 percent, allowing the HPCs to reach full velocity quicker, thus reducing parasitic time.
Both the HPC-500 and HPC-630 offer the option of full 5-axis A over B machining capabilities, and a choice of CNCs: the Siemens A2100 or the Fanuc 16i.
INTERACTIVE TECHSUPPORT is now a standard feature on the entire HPC line with A2100 CNCs. This unique, personalized approach to technical support offers a one-on-one direct link to a Cincinnati technical specialist any time support is needed.
This real time visual connection with a Cincinnati technical expert delivers increased machine availability and significantly reduces maintenance costs. Additionally, INTERACTIVE TECHSUPPORT allows for data transfers, which include fast and efficient loading of software upgrades, and training is inherent to every interactive session.
