Counterbalanced 3-Jaw Power Chucks

N/Ated, counter-centrifugal, and dynamically balanced 3-Jaw Sure-Grip Chucks allow you to operate a CNC lathe at higher spindle speeds and feed rates with less chance for loss of jaw force because of counter-centrifugal forces. The precision counterbalanced chucks come standard with 1.5 mm x 60-degree serrated master jaws, which can be adapted for various CNC lathes with a draw bar linkup.

The chucks are available in 6-, 8-, 10-, and 12-in. size models and mount directly to ANSI A2-4, A2-5, A2-6, and A2-8 spindles. With its patent-pending design, the device has a quick-change feature that allows top jaw changes by turning a single locking bolt in less than 1 min without special tools. The locking system eliminates the chance of jaws coming off during machining. A counterbalance feature helps maintain optimum gripping force at high rpm, and the large thru-hole capacity helps reduce bar stock restrictions.
