The conversational control teaches the user to create a program with a step-by-step format. Selection of feeds and speeds is automatic. Minimal data input dramatically reduces setup time, and automatic grinding is possible from the first workpiece. A variety of built-in grinding and dressing patterns, automatic wheel dressing, and a table design for traverse taper grinding are additional features of the GE3.
