Double Column Horizontal Bandsaws
Five semi-automatic models and six fully automatic models are available with cutting capacities from 10- to 28-in. (round), from (W) 11- × (H)10-in. to (W)35.5- × (H)28-in. (rectangular), and from (H)5- × (W)8-in, to (W)24- × (H)22-in. (bundle cutting with optional hydraulic attachment).
All saws feature infinitely variable band speed, hydraulic blade tension control, coolant application through solid carbide blade guides with rollers, and a quick-action hydraulic split vise for three-jaw clamping to allow cutting to within 2-in. of the bar end. They also offer hydraulically controlled cutting feed to maintain a constant cutting rate, power-driven brush continually flushed by cutting fluid, auto head quick approach control and elevation control, and a roller table with vertical roller guides.
Semi-automatic models include the H330SA, H400SA, H460SA, H550SA, and H700SA. The H260A, H330A, H400A, H460A, H550A, and H700A are fully automatic models offering automatic cutting cycle synchronized with automatic barfeed and stock clamping. Automatic models also provide a precise cut-off length setting, digital readout calibrated in 0.01-in. increments up to 16-in., a piece cutting preset counter, and a multiple stock present counter for cutting lengths longer than 20-in. (maximum of nine strokes).
Options for both machine types include a hydraulically operated bundle clamp and automatic chip conveyor.
