Current EDM's Model ST300 EDM Drill enables precision deep-hole drilling of hard alloys to depths up to 300 times electrode diameter. Installed in hundreds of shops around the world, this unique system is capable of fast and accurate performance, drilling a 0.040" hole through 1-inch tool steel in approximately 35 seconds, virtually burr- free. The ST300 can drill at all angles using electrodes ranging from 0.004" to 0.256" in diameter.
For automatic drilling, the manual ST300 features a standard "Auto-Mode" interface to connect to indexers and controllers.
