EX-CELL-O Appoints Rein Roth President & CEO
Major product introduction slated for IMTS 2000.
Positioning itself for a fast moving global market, EX-CELL-O Machine Tool Co (Sterling Hts, MI) has appointed Rein Roth, a 20-year veteran of the machine tool industry to the post of president and CEO. Roth had been the company's CFO.
"Rein Roth has the talent and machine tool know-how to continue and expand our legacy of innovation and quality," says John S Klimach, the long-time president of the company who will continue to aid the company as engineering and technical consultant.
At the same time, EX-CELL-O Holding AG, the parent company of North America's EX-CELL-O Machine Tool Company, has announced the consolidation of its European and North American sales organizations under Jochen Nahl, who will report directly to Gerhard Eberle, chairman of the holding company.
According to the company, the move reflects the growing interconnectedness of the European and North American auto industries, as well as the mechanical engineering, aerospace and other sectors that EX-CELL-O services. The goal of the new organizational structure is to provide seamless support to all the company's customers, anywhere in the world.
Gary Kyne has been appointed sales manager for North American Operations.
Among the major near-term events facing the new EX-CELL-O team will be the roll out of a new generation of machining centers to coincide with IMTS 2000.
The EX-CELL-O companies are part of IWKA AG, a worldwide family of industrial equipment manufacturers that includes the Boehringer Group, manufacturers of machining systems for the automotive, aerospace, and mechanical engineering industries, and the KUKA family of companies that produce robotics, welding, and other production technologies.
