Fadal Machining Centers Expands its Global Reach

Dean de Caussin named general manager.

Fadal Machining Centers (Chatsworth, CA) is extending its global reach through its affiliation with parent company, Giddings & Lewis, and Thyssen Production Systems. Support for the Fadal brand is coming from added international marketing and manufacturing operations in strategically located markets. Markets in Europe, South America, China, and India are benefiting from expanded presence through sales offices and manufacturing facilities.

Dean de Caussin has been named group VP and GM. He follows Steve Peterson who had been named president of Giddings & Lewis by Thyssen Production Systems.

In Europe, Fadal has appointed Andre Ey as sales and marketing manager for European operations. He is based in Fadal's sales office, which is located in Taunnainstein, Germany (near Frankfurt). Ey is responsible for managing the existing distributor network and for product development in Europe.

In the Far East, in Shanghai, China, general manager Randy Knox, a previous Fadal Machining Centers' employee, manages the Shanghai Fadal Machine Tool Co that is wholly owned by Fadal Machining Centers. The facility builds vertical machining centers for the Chinese market.
