GeoFOLD has the ability to analyze a 3D CAD drawing and automatically unfold it to a flat. This has always been a very difficult task in the sheet metal industry because of the several angle and bend allowance formulations that must be calculated. Most companies design parts and assemblies in a 3D mode, however they must be manufactured in the flat. GeoFOLD is fully integrated with and designed to work with GeoPOINT, however it is often sold as a stand-alone product to engineering departments.
