The HMC 170, a 630 x 500 mm horizontal machining center, combines power and speed. The 60 hp spindle drive has the power to easily handle heavy-duty metal removal. The 1417 ipm rapid traverse and fast tool and pallet change times reduce the overall cycle time, making this one of the most productive HMC's on the market. Used in both high-volume and job shop environments, the HMC 170 is a versatile machining center.
