Hardinge offers a range of CNC Vertical Turning lathes to meet your specific machining requirements.

Hardinge CONQUEST VT100/200 vertical turning lathes are an excellent alternative to large horizontal CNC lathes. The easier loading and machining of larger and heavier parts combined with gravity-aided seating results in a high degree of process repeatability -- ideal for parts requiring precision flatness tolerances. CONQUEST VT100/200 lathes also give you high-performance AC axis drives, coupled to pre-loaded ball screws, for fast and accurate turret positioning. Plus, an ergonomically designed, heavy-gauge steel enclosure provides coolant and chip containment for a clean and safe work environment.
A smaller footprint, lower price and increased productivity are all advantages when compared to traditional horizontal lathes.

The all-new Hardinge-EMAG VL3 Inverted-Spindle Vertical CNC Lathe is a result of the joint venture between Hardinge Inc. and EMAG Maschinenfabrik GmbH. This universally-usable machine is extremely fast and easily programmable and re-toolable, which makes it ideally suited to produce a wide variety of part groups in large, medium and small batch production. A very small footprint and low price makes the VL3 superior to conventional automation systems with large floor space requirements.

The built-in automation design incorporates a closed-loop parts conveyor that encircles the machine to position workpieces at the pickup station for loading and unloading by the vertical spindle. Very fast spindle traverse rates allow the spindle to move both vertically and horizontally to pick the workpiece from the conveyor and traverse into machining position, returning the finished workpiece to the conveyor to complete the cycle.
