Fischer Technology, Inc.ies high-speed automatic tool change spindles feature a high-speed coupling. The coupling is designed to allow the spindle body and motor to remain mounted in the machine tool while the spindle nose with grease pack bearings is removed and replaced, even with an extended nose for deeper machining.
The spindles have been specially developed for drilling, engraving, graphite electrode manufacturing, and mini-milling. They are available in six models ranging from 20,000 to 60,000 rpm with up to 4kW maximum power. Spindles feature compact 40 or 60 mm spindle housings and motor housings of 60 or 80 mm diameter. They are offered with either standard collets for manual operation or pneumatic tool changer for automatic operation.
