Hydraulic Press Brake

The PPEB series of servo-controlled press brakes is available in capacities from 90 to 2,000 tons with working lengths from 5- to 50-ft.

The 150/10 model features Laser Safe, a press-brake safety system that meets European standards for press brake safe operation, providing maximum security with minimal loss of production. This system projects a flat visible laser beam along a horizontal plane 0.354-in. (9mm) below the tip of the punch. If the beam is obstructed, the ram stops immediately. The system automatically calculates the mute point at the touch of a button, making parameter and application changes fast and easy. It also provides a mode that works with parts having flanges on several sides, as in typical box and pan applications.

In addition, the series features the Cadman control, a PC-based control complete with Windows Operating System and the Cadman B programming software, which is standard in the machine control and available as an offline programming system. The series of press brakes can be equipped with the Easy Form system, which measures the bend angle "in process" and positions the ram of the press brake to give the desired bend angle rather than relying on a calculated depth value.
