Ikegai Boring/Milling Machine NB-110T

The Ikegai Model NB-110T from Mitsui Machine Technology is a table-type CNC horizontal boring and milling machine. It is especially suited for complicated work pieces where high accuracy is required. The heavy-duty machine features an 8-in. milling spindle and a 4.33-in. boring spindle that travels up to 25.59-in. within the milling spindle.

For fast cutting, a 30-hp motor delivers main spindle speeds up to 3,000 rpm with 1,535 ft.-lbs. torque, and there is a 472-ipm traverse. Even at maximum speed, the machine has a positioning repeatability of ±0.00012 in. and a boring roundness of ±0.0002 in.

Among the Ikegai NB-110T features are a 55-in. X 63-in. built-in rotary table with a maximum load capacity of 14,300 lbs. Standard control is a Fanuc 16M for 5-axis machining.
