In a joint announcement made today by Linda Radtke, president of Intech EDM, and Rick Kreutzberger, president of Arizona EDM Products, Inc., the EDM supplies portion of Kreutzberger's Tempe, AZ-based company has been sold to Intech EDM, and will become that company's newest stocking regional warehouse and sales office.

Intech EDM is the world's largest distributor of supplies and accessories for the EDM industry, with U.S. Headquarters in Broadview, IL (Chicago). The new Arizona facility will become the company's fourth regional warehouse and sales office, joining branches in Southern California, the Toronto area, and a new, recently announced facility outside Boston.

In business over 17 years, Arizona EDM Products, Inc. had become the leading Arizona distributor of EDM supplies and accessories, as well as full-service, graphite electrode machining services. Kreutzberger says he will continue his machining operations under the new name of Graphite Machining Services, Inc., and the sale will allow him to focus on the growing, non-EDM portion of his business.

In addition, Kreutzberger's new company will work very closely with Intech EDM and continue to perform graphite electrode machining services for Intech EDM customers. According to Radtke, this will significantly enhance their existing Chicago-based graphite machining capabilities, by enabling them to give much faster service to their customers not only in Arizona, but in California, Colorado and the rest of the Western U.S. EDM market.

Radtke also said, "We are very excited about this addition to our company, since it will add a strong graphite electrode business base to our existing full line of EDM supplies and accessories, as well as the PCS and Superior Die Set brands of mold base components. We are committed to fully support the existing customers of Arizona EDM Products, and Rick has pledged to actively work with us during the transition."

The two companies will be co-located at Arizona EDM Products' existing facility in Tempe, and Diana Fiorillo, their lead Inventory Control/Customer Service person, will be joining Intech EDM immediately to fulfill the same role.
