JTEKT Toyoda Americas To Exhibit LA-250YS Turning Center At PMTS 2021

JTEKT Toyoda Americas Corporation, premier CNC manufacturer, is excited to announce the LA-250YS multitasking turning center as its featured machine for the upcoming 2021 Precision Machining Technology Show, based out of Cleveland, Ohio. At Toyoda’s booth #8013, attendees will be able to see firsthand the machine’s highly productive multi-axis turning capabilities made possible by the high-performance built-in spindles, 15 Station Turret, and robust box guideway design – dependably and repeatably handling complex machining demands.

Takisawa Taiwan, a leading manufacturer of medium-to-large-sized CNC lathes, announced Toyoda Americas as their master distributor for turning centers throughout Mexico and select USA markets in 2016. Since then, the duo has worked tirelessly to provide the highest quality complete turning solutions alongside full-service technical support.

Takisawa Taiwan’s LA-250YS follows this trend by offering spindle speeds of up to 3,500 RPM exceptionally handling complex machining by combining high-speed synchronization with precision aligned spindles - automating rapid part transfer.

The LA-250YS will be running live demonstrations throughout the show highlighting the machine’s multitasking sub-spindle, 15 station milling turret, the Y-axis capabilities, and the upgraded horsepower on the Z-axis featuring 7,691 lbs. of thrust. The machine’s specifications include a max swing of 23.6” (600 mm), max turning diameter of 14.6” (370 mm), and a spindle drive motor of 30 HP/20 HP (22 kW/15 kW) with a 10” chuck on the main spindle and an 8” chuck on the sub-spindle.
