Kent Howard Has Been Appointed President of Balluff Inc

Industrial-automation sensor manufacturer, Balluff, Inc. (Florence, KY) has appointed Kent Howard as president and CEO. Howard had been serving as VP/GM since joining the company in 1998. In his new position at the Florence-KY HQ, Howard will direct all facets of the company's day-to-day business in North America.

Howard has more than 20 years' sales and marketing management experience in the industrial automation, sensors, and controls businesses serving with Balluff, Groupe Schneider, Square D, and GE. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University and also attended Northeastern University. A member of the Instrument Society of America and Industrial Computing Society, Howard resides in Anderson Township.

Balluff is a Germany-based company employing more than 1000 people in Europe, the U.S., Japan, Brazil, and Singapore. Its major product lines are transducers, sensors, and automatic ID systems.
