The mill also features heavy structural ribbing located throughout and has a workpiece capacity up to 1,000-lb.

This machine measures 65- × 84- × 50-in. (W × H × D), weighs 2,640-lb, and is equipped with a 3-hp spindle motor with an infinitely variable speed drive. The machine's wide 25.5-in. saddle supports the 50- × 10-in.table. The heavy-duty knee supports the saddle and uses rigid square ways that are hardened and ground for support of the Y-axes. Turcite-B coating is applied to both sides of the saddle, and both the tabletop and slideways are hardened and ground.

The machine's head/spindle assembly mounts on the overarm (Ram), which is located on top of the column. The vari-speed head has dynamically balanced pulleys that are bearing supported and the motor shaft is chrome plated for smooth speed changing. The spindle unit is made from Ni-Cr alloy steel and is supported in the head housing by double super precision angular contact bearings.

In addition, the manufacturer states that the machine's 5-in. quill travel offers standard power feed with precise stopping and feed reverse capability for conventional boring operations.

Specifications include:
