Nomura Nn-20biii 5-Axis Swiss-Type Cnc Turning Center

KGK International, leading value-added distributor of premium machine tools and the exclusive distributor of Nomura Swiss-Type CNC Automatic Lathes in North America, has introduced the Nomura NN-20BIII 5-axis CNC Swiss-type Lathe designed for unattended precision machining of small and high-precision parts.

The NN-20BIII performs drilling, boring, tapping and contouring, all under CNC control. This CNC holds very close tolerances in even hard-to-machine materials, provides an extremely smooth surface finish and a key for achieving the demanding SPC and Š values required in many applications. It offers a maximum working diameter of 0.79 inches (20mm) and comes with a 5 HP main spindle motor. The 5 OD tool stations designed with a vertical slide mechanism deliver extremely fast chip-to-chip time and super-precision turning of small OD parts. Sub spindle operation can be synchronized with the main spindle insuring minimum cycle time. It can also change RPMs quickly which maximizes productivity. All these innovative design features are a reflection of Nomura's extensive experience in developing cam-operated and CNC-driven turning machines.
