Workpieces up to 22,000 lb (10,000 kg) can be handled. The main drive of the V50 is 80 hp with a live spindle of 25 hp. The single-column machines (V40-V60 models) have automatic toolchangers with 12-tool capacity, coolant-through block, and fully enclosed cutting area.
Optional features include ATCs with 16-60 tools, high-pressure coolant, and pallet systems and part and/or tool probe systems, as well as coolant through the live spindle and 3- or 4-jaw hydraulic or manual independent chucks.
