N/APC NC controller is a compact, fully integrated Windows NT-based CNC designed for use with all types and levels of machining centers where high speed machining of complex surfaces to precise tolerances is required. The PC NC features safe architecture that can contour with unprecedented precision—contouring with 5 axes plus spindle at feedrates up to 30m/min with 1mm blocks. It permits 1200 ipm contouring of complex shapes with smooth, shock-free machining. Shape correction algorithms permit high-speed contouring without servo lag or slowdown. Conversational programming is a fully functional 3D graphic programming package that allows designers and operators to create and edit 5-axis part programs while the control is running another program. The standard Yasnac PC NC provides 1 GB of dedicated part program storage and can be run from the hard disk. The system's integrated, industrial grade computer consists of a Pentium processor with 32 MB RAM, shock-mounted hard drive, and floppy disk drive.
