The 838T Series ID/OD gages are designed for measuring hard-to-reach dimensions not accessible to conventional hand tools such as calipers and micrometers. The 838T series is well-suited for measuring parts with difficult clearances, such as the insides of bottles, deep internal grooves, the wall thickness of a can, or a piece of tubing.
The 838T Series consists of a family of mechanical and digital gages for checking small IDs ranging from 0.1 in. (2.5 mm) to 2 in. (50 mm). Measurements are made quickly and easily by squeezing the gage's scissor grip. There are six styles, each with a unique set of measurement arms and contact points.
The gages are available in either a mechanical readout or a digital version with a large display and electronic output for SPC data output.
