Precision Machine Tools And Automation Solutions For Focus Industries

At the upcoming CCMT 2026, 21.–25. April in Shanghai, DMG MORI will present its innovative and comprehensive production solutions. The focus will be on key technologies in CNC machining: universal turning, turn-mill and lasertec technologies. DMG MORI will present 5 high-end machine tools and automation solutions for focus industries: semiconductors and robots. Technology only shows its value when it operates effectively. DMG MORI's booth covers 375 m² and is located at A101 in Hall W5. It will show the essence of Machining Transformation (MX). Process Integration, Automation, Digital Transformation (DX), and Green Transformation (GX) are the four pillars of Machining Transformation and the future of manufacturing.

To be one of the first to witness the machine tools in their China premiere which include NLC 2500 | 700 turning center and the DMU 75 monoBLOCK 2. Generation 5-axis machining center, visitors can experience a new benchmark of high precision and high efficiency. For CTX beta 450 TC turn&mill center with Robo2Go automation system, the machine can be operated with 24/7 mode for higher productivity. With a femtosecond laser, LASERTEC 50 PrecisionTool Femto can precisely process micro-tools. Some machine tools manufactured in China will also be showcased at this event: They include NHC 6300 horizontal machining center which is produced in Tianjin, and NLC 2500|700 turning center which is produced in Pinghu. They have a wide range of applications and can automatically produce workpieces in various fields.

The Tianjin and Pinghu plants are important parts of DMG MORI Group's presence in China. Short transportation routes and domestic production mean that it can effectively ensure short delivery time, environmental friendly, and benefits the regional economic development. DMG MORI can be reached in short distance, customers can be served timely, feedback from Chinese customers can be collected, then products can be optimized consistently for Chinese customers.

NLC 2500 | 700 Turning Center
This is a new machine manufactured at DMG MORI factory in China. Based on NLX 2500 | 700, it provides the same processing capabilities as the NLX 2500 | 700. It is designed to machine various workpieces with φ 366 mm or length up to 700 mm. The NLC 2500 | 700 features the machine bed with scraped sideways, the build-in motor BMT turret and Magnescale encoders for closed-loop control. The left spindle has 10" chuck in standard. Wide range of options are available for this machine, including milling, Y-axis, and counter spindle specifications. By combining spindles and turrets, this machine can be tailor-made for the specific production needs of our customers. It can be flexibly combined with various automation solutions, including gantry loader, articulated robots or collaborative robots for high-efficiency production.

CTX beta 450 TC Turn & Mill Center
For years, six-sided complete machining has been a traditional highlight of CTX TC series turn & mill centers from DMG MORI. The new CTX beta 450 TC continues the features of this machine series. It was developed for ease of operation, high efficiency, and automation, and thus it is a perfect example of the Machining Transformation (MX). The CTX beta 450 TC save the footprint with only 10 m², but it provides large working area for customers to machine workpieces with size up to ø 500 mm and length up to 1100 mm. The bar capacity is ø 76 mm for both spindle and counter spindle, and ø 102 mm as option. As the key component of this new machine, the compactMASTER turn & mill spindle has speed of 15,000 rpm in standard, and 20,000 rpm as option. Both for the spindle and counter spindle, rotational speed is 5,000 rpm and max. torque is 720 Nm. Its rapid feed can be up to 50 m/min as one of the highlights in high performance.

LASERTEC 50 PrecisionTool Femto 5-Axis Laser Machining Solution
With a positioning accuracy of a few micrometers, the 5-axis LASERTEC 50 PrecisionTool Femto is an efficient solution for the precise production of complex micro-tools. At the heart of this process is the 20 watt femto laser. Thanks to ultra-short pulses, it enables minimal material removal, allowing the machine to achieve the surface quality to Ra 0.1 µm. It is designed for tool diameters of up to ø 0.3 mm. Thanks to the combination of powerful femtosecond technology and 5-axis simultaneous machining, the LASERTEC 50 PrecisionTool Femto enables highly economical complete machining in competitive throughput times. The optional PH 50 pallet handling system enables even more productive production, even in unmanned shifts.
