Probe System for Machining Centers

Renishaw Inc.o improve productivity by allowing the automatic setting and inspection of components, the MP10 probing system is designed for workpiece setup and inspection on small- to medium-sized CNC machining centers. For use on vertical and horizontal machining centers, the device is suitable for use on high-speed machines with no spindle orientation and can be used with single- or double-touch probing routines.

The system employs 360-degree infrared optical transmission (at 35- and 70-degree angles), offers ±X-Y-Z probing directions, and is certified at 480 mm/min. Sealed to IP68 and shock and vibration resistant, the unit can be specified as standard equipment and can be retrofitted to existing machining centers.
