Seco Tools AB Names Lars Renström President

Seco Tools AB, the parent company of Carboloy Inc. (Detroit, MI), has appointed Lars Renström president of Seco Tools AB and CEO of the Seco Group. Seco Tools together with Carboloy is the third largest producer of carbide tooling and a global leader in carbide tooling and related products, systems and services.

Renström most recently served as president of Uniroc AB, a company within the Atlas Copco Group in Sweden. Renström succeeds Jan-Erik Forsgren who retired at the end of 1999.

Carboloy is a full-line supplier of metalcutting tools, systems and services in North America, including milling, drilling, turning, threading, and grooving tools in the U.S. metalworking industry.
