Clausing Industrial, Inc.oo Model MA1218VS 12-in. semi-automatic miter bandsaw is a rugged machine offering a range of standard features including 0 to 45° miter cutting to enable angle cutting without swinging the material, an enclosed oil bath gear box, an a cast iron bed.
The bandsaw features a 2-hp main drive with magnetic starter and overload protection, a 0.25-hp hydraulic motor, a variable speed drive, a 1-in. wide blade, a blade cleaning brush and solid carbide blade guides with rollers. The device also offers integral coolant injection through both guides, a quick position 18-in. vise, automatic shut-off at the end of cut and an adjustable head feed with power lift.
The saw accepts up to 12-in. round, 10- × 10-in. square and 10- × 16-in. rectangular stock at 90°, and up to 8- × 12-in. rectangular stock at 45°.
