KPT/Kaiser Precision Tooling, Inc.all diameter boring bars are offered with KPT Kaiser's 112 series high-precision boring heads. The small boring bars extend the bore depth and alleviate problems caused by rigidity or length-diameter ratio requirements.
The new boring bars have diameters of 7, 9, 11, and 13 mm filling gaps in the 112.116 and 112.106 product line. The single-piece construction assures optimal rigidity. The dial on the aa2.116 makes adjustments in increments of 0.0002 in./DIA. Users can easily and accurately split each division for 0.0001 in/DIA adjustments. Each revolution of the dial corresponds to 0.020 in/DIA. Features of the 112 series include telescoping adaptation of the tool projection for any specific user requirement and through-spindle coolant flow.
