3 Models

Super Hydrobar 3.10 - 3.28: ideally suited for smaller capacity and sliding headstock machines to 28mm.

Super Hydrobar 6.26 - 6.46: designed for smaller bar stock sizes to 46 mm, in a six-tube configuration.

Super Hydrobar 6.50 - 6.68: accommodates larger bar stock diameters to 68 mm.

Radial arrangement of guide tubes for fast changeovers :

• The guide tubes (B) are arranged radially on a common pitch circle (three or six tubes depending on model)
  
• For maximum rigidity and straightness, the tubes are clamped (A) securely in a patented aluminum half-shells (C) and cores (D).
  
• Each guide tube has its own piston/pushrod assembly.

Bar stock feed and hydrodynamic support

• Hydraulic oil pressure to the piston/pusher assembly feeds the barstock into
  the lathe spindle.
  
• The patented valve in the piston allows a controlled volume of oil to create an evenly distributed oil film between the guide tube and barstock without creating performance impeding air pockets.
  
• Rotation of the bar creates the hydrodynamic effect whereby the bar is supported and cushioned by the oil film
