SURFCAM Tool Path Verification Powered By MachineWorks™

Westlake Village, California, USA - Surfware, Inc., makers of SURFCAM CAD/CAM systems, and MachineWorks, Ltd., supplier of simulation and verification solutions, announced the formation of a strategic agreement that combines SURFCAM's computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) functionality with MachineWorks™ tool path verification and machine tool simulation technology. The new MachineWorks verification will be fully integrated within the SURFCAM manufacturing product line, providing its customers with a complete set of tools to proof their tool path motion.

Through superior visualization and analysis capabilities, MachineWorks™ technology helps ensure that the part program in question will accurately and efficiently machine the as-designed part. MachineWorks technology will be available in the next release of SURFCAM, slated to release July 2004.
