Westlake Village, CA — Surfware, Inc., developer of SURFCAM® CAD/CAM systems, announced that SURFCAM will be demonstrated with live machining throughout the Open House at the Mazak Northeast Headquarters and Regional Technology Center. The event is being held from June 19th - 21st.

If you missed it last year, here's another chance!

"During the 2006 open house, people were amazed to discover what is now possible in high speed machining. Combining Mazak's machining technology with SURFCAM Velocity's TrueMill® toolpath yielded deep cutting depths and high speeds that you absolutely must see and hear for yourself," said Bill Curtis, Mazak Northeast Regional Applications Manager.

"The quiet and smooth manner in which the TrueMill toolpath engine manages the cutter's engagement angle with the material is also safer for the machine and results in longer cutting tool life. So it's a win-win-win scenario" said Rich Pauli, president of DM Solutions, the SURFCAM solutions partner in New England. DM Solutions will be on hand to demonstrate how TrueMill works as well as other new functionality in the recently released version 3.0 SP1 of the SURFCAM Velocity CAD/CAM series.
