These coolants mix completely with water to form a transparent solution. Unlike the soluble oils and the micro-emulsions, synthetic products contain no oil at all, which means that tramp oil is quickly rejected and thus easily removed by skimming. The absence of oil also gives these products excellent resistance to biological growth. Coolant and machines stay clean, and the total lack of oil mist helps keep the workplace clean.

• Dascool 810 for Ferrous Metals is specifically formulated for general ferrous machining and grinding applications where high detergency and maximum rust protection are desired in a very low-foaming coolant.
• Dascool 840 for Ferrous Metals is a heavy-duty, low-foaming coolant with extreme-pressure lubricity components that make it suitable for severe applications that many synthetic coolants cannot handle.
