TCR-26L High-Powered CNC Turning Center

YCI Supermax, a leader in the design, engineering, and manufacture of CNC and conventional machine tools, has introduced its new TCR-26L turning center featuring full C-axis capability and live tooling. The TCR-26L addresses both quality and quantity manufacturing by incorporating advanced technological innovations for the most complex of machine tool tasks.

With a powerful 20 HP spindle motor, high-powered 2-speed geared head, 4000 RPM maximum spindle speed, and 534 ft.-Ibs of maximum spindle torque, the TCR26L offers the speed, quality and power for every turning need. Productionenhancing live tooling comes standard on the TCR-26L. The hydraulic 12-position turret has six live-tools with a speed ranging from 125 RPM to a maximum of 3150 RPM at 7.5 HP.

Hardened and ground box way construction, dynamically balanced spindles, and a rigid one-piece 45° slant bed construction all lead to precise and stable turning. The TCR-26L features a maximum turning diameter of 16.5" and a swing diameter of 19.6". X-axis travel is 9.8" while Z-axis travel is 43.3". In addition, the TCR-26L's tailstock is fully programmable for easy re-alignment. Full C-axis capability is provided at a speed and horsepower of 20 RPM/2 HP, and maximum torque is 209 ft.-Ibs. The A2-8 size spindle nose has a large 3.5" through-hole.

The Fanuc 18TC integrates CNC hardware, software, and spindle control with the highest quality, reliability and most comprehensive range of features and functions currently available. An RS232C interface and swivel-designed control panel add to the TCR-26L's ease of use.

Rugged, heavy-duty Meehanite castings provide the TCR-26L with a solid structure for the most demanding turning applications. Additional performance features include an automatic lubrication system, chip conveyor, 10"/12" hydraulic chucking system, and one set of soft and hard jaws.

The IMTS Special Option Package comprises a tool touch probe, parts catcher, and 8.4" LCD color monitor. Available for immediate delivery, the TCR-26L offers the best value and performance of any turning center in its class.
