THK America, Inc. (Schaumburg, IL) has opened a 90,000 sq ft plant in Hebron, OH, to manufacture linear motion guides (LM Systems) and link balls. The plant is the first U.S. manufacturing plant. It reinforces THK's plant to take its innovative linear motion technology around the world with strategically located manufacturing plants and offices. In North America, THK also has seven regional sales offices located in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New Jersey, San Francisco, and Toronto, ON, Canada. Each has a stocking warehouse, application engineers, and customer service representatives.

Linear Motion Guides are precise positioning components with re-circulating ball linear motion guide technology that uses a block and precision-ground rail design. LM Systems are used in equipment for a wide variety of industries including machine tools, semiconductor, medical, packaging, automotive, and robotic devices. THK's Link Balls consist of a high accuracy, high quality steel ball with a welded shank assembled to a die cast socket holder and are used in manufacturing automobiles and other forms of transportation.
