THK Features Type RSR Miniature LM Guide

THK America, Inc.'s LM guides are more compact, more durable and offer superior linear motion when compared to systems utilizing linear bushings parallel to each other. And, the Type RSR is free from the cage displacement typically associated with finite stroke guides, such as cross roller guides or ball slides.

Both the Type RSR-V and the Type RSR-W feature large diameter balls for rigidity, yet are compact enough to fit in small spaces. With the balls continuously circulating within the block-rail design, the Type RSR offers limitless travel lengths.

Both Types can carry loads in any direction perpendicular to the rail axis, while a single axis system can carry low moment loads. Featuring an increased number of balls and an increased LM rail width, the Type RSR-W is even more rigid against moments.

The Type RSR-V is available in rail lengths from 40 to 1600 mm; the Type RSR-W in 80 to 1600 mm.

The LM blocks, LM rails and balls may be ordered in stainless steel, at a shorter maximum rail length, for use in clean room environments, for use where exposure to splashing water is a concern or for use in an environment where lubrication is not permitted.
