THK'S New QZ Lubricator

THK America, Inc., leader in linear motion, introduces an innovative new lubrication system - the QZ Lubricator. The QZ system is designed to be mounted onto the block of a Linear Motion Guide, automatically replacing oil lost during machine operation and eliminating the need for greasing or a centralized oiling system in many applications.

The QZ Lubricator works on the wicking principle much like a felt tip pen. A reservoir inside the lubricator supplies oil to 8 high-density fiber "wicks", which then apply the lubricant directly to the bearing raceways. The result is a system, which supplies the appropriate amount of oil to the proper surfaces, as it is needed, drastically reducing wasteful over-lubrication.

Ideal for applications in hard to reach spots and to minimize machine piping. THK's new system boasts an environmentally friendly design, provides excellent lubrication to ball bearings, and enables maintenance intervals to be drastically extended or in some cases eliminated.
