Arlington Heights, IL - Toyoda Machinery introduces its new line of Inverted Vertical Turning Centers. The machines deliver high productivity, reliability, and ease of use. Its flexibility makes it an ideal choice for big and small companies, with the versatility to be used as a stand-alone machine or part of a production line.

In addition to standard inverted spindle turning with built-in automation, special fixed spindle and live turret tooling is available. A large variety of special applications can be incorporated across the product range, from small-part, high-speed turning to complex turning and milling.

The machine's spindles are thermo-stabilized and equipped with a hydraulic breaking system for machining sturdiness and an encoder for extremely precise positioning. Its traveling inverted spindle allows for direct part pick up and delivers a significant improvement over other chip management designs.

The Inverted Vertical Turning Center's patented mono-block polymerized concrete-filled, steel fabrication base delivers maximum vibration dampening and rigidity. The machine design allows for maximum operator ergonomics and easy access to automation. The line is available in several models and speeds to accommodate a variety of part sizes and materials. All workpiece in/out automation is designed and supplied by Toyoda Machinery.
