Tyrolit Announces New Pre-Cutting Blade

A laser-welded diamond blade has been introduced by Tyrolit capable of a broad range of pre-cutting applications in hard and soft concrete as well as brick. Designed for use with ring saws, the 4.4 mm thick B116 blade is wider than most on the market and is suitable for most aggregates. Overall diameter is 405 mm, making the blade ideal for use with nearly all cut-off saws.

Segment height is 10 mm, rather than the more usual 7 mm, extending blade lifetime even at high cutting speeds. The strong steel core stands up well to undercutting. Despite the higher than average productivity that the blade offers, its life is said to be 25 percent longer than that of any competitive pre-cutting blade, giving a good performance-to-price ratio.

The B116 pre-cutting blade is available ex-stock from Tyrolit, as is a range of ring saw blades with a soft, medium or hard matrix, suitable for hard materials, general applications and abrasive materials respectively. All Tyrolit products are oSa-approved, guaranteeing that they are safe to use.
