UK's Chelton Radomes selects Made2Manage ERP

UK-based Chelton Radomes is replacing its existing ERP system with the Made2Manage enterprise business system in a contract valued at $400,000. The Made2Manage Systems, Inc. system, distributed in the UK by IT solutions provider 4Front Software, will be fully implemented in just five months through the Made2Manage Time2Value initiative.

Founded in the 1960s, Chelton Radomes is an 85-strong business unit, recently acquired by Chelton from BAE Systems, which manufactures radomes and microwave components for both military and commercial applications. Chelton Radomes, located north of London is currently preparing for full scale Eurofighter production and is the lead contractor and sole supplier of primary nose radomes for Harrier, Hawk, Nimrod, and Tornado aircraft and for Rapier and Seawolf missile systems. In addition, the business has a growing repair center that provides maintenance services for commercial airlines.
