The ram, turret, column, knee, and saddle are cast from close-grained iron with cross ribbing to provide maximum stiffness. All joints are machined and hand scraped and fitted to provide accurate mating and close tolerance.

Each joint (table to saddle, saddle to knee, and knee to column) is equipped with an adjustable gib to ensure long life and accuracy.

Standard features on the machine include:

  • Programmable speed spindle drive.
  • 5 HP vector drive.
  • A Bijur lubrication system with metered flow and low-level warning.
  • Spraymist system.
  • Chrome-plated and automatically lubricated ways.
  • Way covers.
