Waukesha Cutting Tools Names Tanriverdi President and CEO

Muff Tanriverdi has been named president and CEO of Waukesha Cutting Tools (Waukesha, WI). Tanriverdi in his new position will be responsible for all aspects of Waukesha's operations in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico as part of the Walter Group.

Tanriverdi, 44, started his career with research into CNC machine tools as a graduate engineer in the UK. Later as VP-manufacturing, he worked in the tooling industry with Komet of America and its operating companies, Dihart and Martin Tool Works.

Most recently, as executive VP, he was in charge of multi-plant operations of Miller Fluid Power, a multi-national manufacturer of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders and related equipment.

Waukesha Cutting Tools Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Walter AG, Tübingen, Germany, a global supplier of production tooling for the metalworking industries, software for tool data management, grinding and measuring machines.
