DP Technology Corp., a CAD/CAM company of Esprit/W CAM software for wire-EDM programming now includes features that support more machines. This release provides improved ONA and Agie wire-EDM interfaces with a simplified layout that allows more efficient part programming and easy-to-build machining tasks. New stop strategies offer more flexibility in placing stops during wire-EDM machining, and multiple profile cutting strategies allow rough cuts for punch and die work to be programmed and machined while an operator is present.

Also new in this release are machine-specific control panels for Brother and Hitachi wire-EDM machines. Upgrades to the software's AgieCut 123 and AgieVision post-processors support machine offsets for pocketing and no-core cutting routines. Advanced conics and tapering routines for the AgieCut Evolution and Classic now support the machining of program radii, which lets users produce more accurate parts and create shorter programs.
